Job Description
Greystar is a market leading real estate company offering expertise in property investment management and development, across multifamily (Build to Rent) residential properties and student accommodation globally.
 

The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for generating and analysing reports on the Greystar UK property management performance. The role will gather and analyse the market, investment and portfolio data, providing management with data and input to identify opportunities for improving performance and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Investment and the Regional Managers to assist with Revenue reforecasts and the budgeting process on a regular basis.
  • Supports the creation of underwrites for budgets and P&Ls when acquiring new buildings.
  • Supports investor reporting on a weekly basis/ providing monthly reports.
  • Delivers operations leasing reporting process to track and analyses leasing and occupancy performance and trends highlighting opportunities for rental growth or corrective marketing activity.
  • Provides support and assistance to the Performance & Insights Manager, key business leaders and others by fielding questions and requests, gathering data and reports and assisting in resolving issues related to operational policies and performance.
  • Manages the gathering and analysis of financial, market, and other data to evaluate overall performance of the assigned portfolios versus budgets, targets and Investor expectations.


Experience and Skills Required:

  • Experience in an analytical role, working with Budgets and P&Ls.
  • Demonstrable experience in the research, gathering, analysis, reporting and presentation of business specific data in a commercial operation/sector.
  • Experience designing and delivering reporting for operational businesses.
  • Experience working with large data sets & manipulating data in Excel.
  • Highly numerate, with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and attention to detail.
