The Corporate Accounts Assistant is responsible for the processing of Accounting transactions, Financial Administration and the maintenance of our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Recharge and collection of all recoverable expenses to properties on a timely basis.
  • Reconcile all incoming cash receipts and expenses to complete full monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Review and follow up on outstanding AR balances.
  • Maintain and ensure accurate record keeping across corporate entities
  • Analyse expense type, coding and posting of supplier invoices on Yardi accounting system.
  • Payments of service providers and suppliers.
  • Review and process expense reclaims using online expense software.
  • Assist with supplier setup and administration.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
  • Accruals, prepayment and journal postings.
  • Process and reconcile petty cash float requests and agreements on a timely basis.
  • Compile reports and schedules including accruals and prepayments.
  • Assist with month and year end reporting activities.
  • Assist with the audit process and respond to external audit queries.
  • Assist in enhancing current finance processes and controls in place.
  • Ad hoc duties and project work as required.

Your Profile:

  • Educated to degree level in a related discipline or equivalent experience in finance or administrative support with a desire to achieve professional qualification.
  • Working towards CIMA or ACCA would be advantageous.
  • Accounting foundation background with a thorough understanding of accounting procedures and double entry book-keeping.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, SumIf) and Word.
  • Basic understanding of VAT and Company Structures.
