The Central Sales Manager coordinates, reports and delivers the marketing, leasing and reservations activities of a contact centre team to achieve maximum productivity, occupancy and revenue targets along with implementing best practices to support customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages daily workloads of the student central sales contact centre team across phone, email, WeChat, webchat and CRM tasks.
  • Reports back to the Senior Sales Manager on the team’s impact on the leasing cycle on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Implements a uniformed approach to the team across all contact channels and brands by monitoring quality of calls, webchats, emails and face to face viewings.
  • Leads and manages team members; recruiting, on-boarding and developing direct reports and other team members as appropriate.
  • Acts as the first point of escalation for central sales queries and team queries.
  • Supports marketing with housing fairs and brand awareness events as a champion of the Company’s brands.
  • Develops strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and teams to foster efficient and productive cross-functional collaboration to achieve sales process efficiency.
  • Undertakes marketing reviews of the property online and monitors competitor activity to greater inform the team.
  • Monitors remote working performance and helps to build a bilingual central sales team to cover as many demographics as possible
  • Runs workshops with both the student and multifamily sales teams to creatively think of new ways to drive the sales funnel performance and increase Greystar’s market share
  • Manages the performance of the multifamily (build to rent) channel sales executives and their performance across ILS feeds such as Rightmove or Movebubble.
  • Assists the channel sales executive with handling incoming sales calls and initiates proactive outbound contact to convert lead generation and existing database contacts.

Your Profile:

  • Experience of leading a team and a proven track record in building and motivating a high performing team to achieve targets/service level agreements and excellent customer service, in a similar world-class accommodation/hospitality/leisure or reservations/membership environment.
  • Experience of working in the property industry or a B2C sales environment is desirable
  • Experience or the ability to coordinate workload based on business requirements; to deliver exceptional sales and service levels.
  • Evidence of organisation skills with the ability to multi task and prioritise while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self and culturally aware and able to adapt relationship building, communications and negotiation skills to suit audience at all levels.
  • A strong team player but capable of working autonomously and taking ownership.
  • Flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to thriving in a changing environment.
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication skills (additional language skills are desirable).
