Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Central Sales Manager to join our London team. This role focuses on both our Multi Family (Build to Rent) and Student Accommodation platforms, and will be responsible for coordinating, reporting, and delivering the marketing, leasing and reservations activities of a contact centre team to achieve maximum productivity, occupancy and revenue targets along with implementing best practices to support customer satisfaction.

 Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manages daily workloads of the central sales contact centre team (Circa 4 +) across phone, email, WeChat, webchat and CRM tasks.
  • Reports back to the Senior Sales Manager on the team’s impact on the leasing cycle.
  • Implements a uniformed approach to the team across all contact channels and brands by monitoring quality of calls, webchats, emails and face to face viewings.
  • Documents and reviews processes and creates training material to support team members with the uniformed approach.
  • Leads and manages team members; recruiting, on-boarding and developing direct reports and other team members as appropriate and managing their performance in accordance with Company policies, values, and business practices.
  • Acts as the first point of escalation for central sales queries and team queries.
  • Supports marketing with housing fairs and brand awareness events as a champion of the Company’s brands.
  • Works collaboratively with team members at the sites to make the sales process as efficient as possible between site and central team.
  •  Reviews the leasing journey from website search to booking daily to identify improvement areas.
  •  Monitors remote working performance and helps to build a bilingual central sales team to cover as many demographics as possible.

Experience and Skills required:

  • Experience of leading a team and a proven track record in building and motivating a high performing team – Through Sales through Customer Service.
  • Experience of working in the property industry or a B2C sales environment is desirable.
  • Experience or the ability to coordinate workload based on business requirements; to deliver exceptional sales and service levels.
  • Evidence of organisation skills with the ability to multi task and prioritise while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self and culturally aware and able to adapt relationship building, communications and negotiation skills to suit audience at all levels.
