Job Description
We have an opportunity for an experienced Portfolio Management Senior Associate to join our dedicated team in Madrid.


Based in our Madrid office, this role supports the development and execution of the investment thesis and business plans of the Real Estate portfolios managed by Greystar, to achieve their financial, investment, and operating performance goals. This role oversees the internal and external reporting requirements of the ventures. This role is also responsible for developing and keeping the modelling tools, assisting in the decision-making process of value-add and asset management strategies, analysing hold/sell scenarios, preparing impact analyses of acquisitions of income-producing and development assets, backing investment recommendations by addressing technical questions, and supporting the financial structuring process of acquisitions.


As our ideal candidate, you’ll be:

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a related business or analytical subject such as finance, mathematics, economics, science, engineering or real estate.  
  • Experienced in a similar role at Associate level within investment banking, private equity, corporate finance or other related financial background.
  • Highly numerate, with a strong quantitative and qualitative background with experience in creating, calculating and interpreting complex financial models (underwritings, life-of-fund models), ideally in corporate finance, related-business or accounting;
  • An exceptional communicator with the ability to build positive relationships and to act with impact and influence
  • Naturally inquisitive, commercially and strategically minded, with a desire to understand the bigger picture and contribute to understanding and solving challenges.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish.

A passion for Real Estate and understanding of the local market is key for our business so experience in Spain is essential - any international exposure alongside would be an advantage.
